The Man I Look Up To!

Once again I know I am awful at blogging about the holiday on the actual date it happened.

What can I say about my Dad except that he is my Dad. To many he may come off quiet, to others he is the entertained, but to me he is my Dad full of wisdom, quick wit, and when needed disciplining words. One thing I absolutely love about my Dad is that he is a self-proclaimed "sideways thinker." When others look at a problem they look at it in a biased fashion either vertically or horizontally. My Dad has a way of clearing all biases from his head and seeing things from a different, but more often then not, better angle.

My Dad is the hardest working man I know! Often times he puts in 50 to 60 hours a week at work and then will come home and remodel the bathroom or build us a deck. Some people may say that working so much isn't good for children parent relationships but I can say with no complains that my Dad was an active part in my life. In fact some of the talks we have had will forever live with me, yes Dad "He" will be kind!

I don't think I will ever truly know all that my Dad has sacrificed for me. I do know however that it is a lot and there is no way on this earth that I can pay him back! I love you Dad, I love you a lot! Drive safe!

Start Counting Down Till August 13th!

Many of the close family and friends who read my blog are already aware but I have been talking about going to Mexico to teach English with a program known as International Language Progam(ILP) for quite some time. Well I'm estatic to annouce that it is official!!! I will be leaving for Puebla, Mexico on August 13 of this year and come back sometime in late December! I am so excited and feel so blessed to have this opportunity!
Many of you might be wondering, because I know I did, where in the world is Puebla? It is located between Mexico City and the port of Veracruz. Basically when people ask me I tell them Puebla is South East of Mexico City.

I am really excited for this opportunity and can't wait to see the kids I will be teaching and meet my host family that I will be living with! This is going to be an amazing experience and I am totally and completely excited to go!
Here are some pictures from Puebla just so you can see where I will be spending the next four months!
